Multiple parcels: Orders that require more than one parcel for delivery will incur additional shipping charges. Customers with multiple parcel shipments will be charged the actual cost of shipping (Plus a $2.00 handling fee).
Valued Packages $1,000 and Over :Orders with a value of $1,000 or greater will be shipped "Signature Required" . An adult may need to be present to sign for the package. Please note that the adult will have to present government ID which will have to match the address on the shipping label.
*IHT reserves the right to send any package "Signature Required" as we see fit. If you are concerned about having a shipment with a required signature, please use the "Additional Order Information" field to express your concern, or call us at 717-256-3399.
Exceptions to the cost of shipping include: US Territories that do not qualify for shipping prices including, but not limited to, (Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and APO Boxes) will be charged the actual cost of shipping (Plus a $2.00 handling fee).
Oversized And / Or Heavy Packages: Oversized and/or heavy packages that have dimensional weight charges will incur additional shipping charges as imposed by all shipping carriers (FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL). Customers will be charged the actual cost of shipping (Plus a $2.00 handling fee). Items may include, but not limited to: Transformers, Track, Sets, Expansion Packs, and more. Call for details. Please Note these types of orders will incur additional freight charges and will be added by IHT at the time of order processing and will not be reflected on the final order checkout page.
Express Shipping: Next day, Two day, and Three day shipping are available. Please call us at 717-256-3399 to place your order. Express shipping charges will be billed at the actual costs charged by the carrier (plus $3.00 service charge). We can not estimate these charges ahead of time since each order varies in weight and size. FedEx/UPS next day, two day, and three day shipping, where available, are an additional cost. Some areas including, but not limited to Alaska and Hawaii, do NOT have three day service available. Express shipments are only serviced on regular business days.
No International Shipping
Damaged Merchandise: All items are shipped fully insured. If you receive items damaged by the freight carrier, please call us so we may contact the freight carrier. Hold the damaged item along with the shipping box. 10 days limit from shipping date.
Back Orders: Due to the unique manufacturing process in the industry, we try not to list any items that are on backorder. If you wish to place an item on backorder call IHT at 717-256-3399. Backordered items can/may take quite a while to ship. If you wish to place an item on backorder it will remain on backorder until product is received from the manufacturer or notice is received that it is not being made. The customer may cancel their backorders at any time prior to receipt from the manufacturer.
Returns: Please call 717-256-3399 to get a return authorization which must appear on your invoice copy and must be enclosed with an explanation of damage or issue. The merchandise must be in the original package in unused condition.
NO RETURNS AFTER 10 DAYS OF RECEIPT.
All returns are subject to a 15% restocking charge and applicable freight charges if not exchanged for merchandise of equal value. No returns of books or video tapes. All warranty returns must be prepaid by the customer.
Refused Parcels: Customers who refuse the delivery of a parcel for any reason, whatsoever, are responsible for the cost of shipping fees incurred to and from your destination, as well as a 15% restocking fee. Your credit card will be billed the appropriate amount for any refused delivery. A lot of time, effort, labor and materials go into every parcel we ship to you. Thank you for understanding.
Address Correction: In the event that a customer has entered the incorrect shipping address, and the delivery of a parcel requires and address correction, the customer is then responsible for any and all fees that are incurred thereafter. Your credit card will be billed the appropriate amount for any necessary address corrections deemed by any courier.
Orders: In an effort to protect our customers, we have implemented the following policy for orders. Orders over $200.00 must be sent to the "Billing Address" that the bank has on file. Or we can send it to your local UPS Customer Care Center for pick up - where you will need a government issued ID, Example: (Drivers License), in order to pick up your parcel. Other Restrictions may apply.
